Leonardo Da Vinci Airport - Fiumicino (Roma)

The Roman International Airport "Leonardo da Vinci" is also called "Fiumicino". The simplest and cheapest way to cover the 35 kilometers from Fiumicino to the center of Rome is by train. Two trains are available:

Airport ›› Fara Sabina (it stops at Ostiense and Tiburtina Stations)
Multi-stop trains leave the airport every 30 minutes, from 6.37 a.m. to 11.37 p.m., arrive at Ostiense and Tiburtina stations and continue to Fara Sabina.

Airport to Dipartimento di Scienze Geologiche, Univ. "Roma TRE"
Take the train to Fara Sabina and get off at the Ostiense station.
Then take the metro line B in the direction of Laurentina and get off at the stop "San Paolo".
Then take the bus number 23 (see the map) in the Direction of Largo S. Leonardo Murialdo. The final stop is just in front of the Department.

Airport ›› Roma Termini Station (Leonardo Express)
Non stop trains leave the airport every hour from 5.52 a.m. to 10.52 p.m.
Train timetables may vary during holidays and on Sundays.
